What we're looking for:

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our Dayton, Ohio manufacturing facility. This individual will provide leadership during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient operations while leading a team of operators in a dynamic batch manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate combines strong process manufacturing experience with leadership capability, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to achieving world-class safety performance.

What your day will look like:

  • Lead and support plant operators during assigned shifts.
  • Coordinate daily production and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify process deviations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
  • Conduct safety inspections and permit reviews.
  • Lead shift meetings and employee communications.
  • Coordinate lockout/tagout activities.
  • Communicate production status and operational challenges to leadership.
  • Support incident investigations and emergency response activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within chemical, petrochemical, refining, or related process manufacturing industries.
  • Experience leading production personnel.
  • Experience working in a safety-critical manufacturing environment.
  • SAP proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and internet-based business systems.
  • Ability to understand and manage complex manufacturing processes.
  • Availability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.

Preferred

  • Associate Degree in Process Operating Technology or higher.
  • Previous supervisory experience in chemical manufacturing.
  • Experience within batch manufacturing operations.
  • Fire Brigade or Emergency Response experience.
  • Union manufacturing environment experience.
