The Regional Sales Manager - Indirect & Wholesale Dealership Support plays a dual strategic role, serving as the primary liaison to the newly acquired Dealer Floorplan Group while providing regional leadership to a focused team of Dealer Development Representatives. This leader drives the rapid integration and expansion of relationships across 200+ dealer groups, ensuring consistent positioning of the full indirect product suite and a unified dealer experience across divisions. At the same time, the role provides hands on coaching, performance management, and execution discipline for a team of DDRs-directly managing those aligned to floorplan dense geographies and influencing broader regional coverage. By blending dealer facing partnership work with structured team leadership, the position accelerates growth, strengthens channel alignment, and enhances the overall effectiveness of the indirect sales organization.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.
  • Dealer & Channel Leadership
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic liaison for the newly acquired indirect dealer floorplan portfolio.
    • Lead initial outreach, positioning, and expansion discussions for our broader indirect product suite.
    • Partner closely with local DDRs on coordinated go-to-market execution.
    • Act as the connective tissue between Commercial Floorplan and Indirect Sales.
    • Educate dealers on full relationship value beyond floorplan.
    • Identify opportunities for alignment, cross-sell, and experience improvements.
    • Recommend program, pricing, and process changes based on insights.
  • Team Management & Regional Leadership
    • Directly manage 3-5 DDRs aligned to floorplan-heavy regions.
    • Provide daily leadership, coaching, and performance management.
    • Indirectly influence 10-12 additional DDRs across the broader region.
    • Ensure consistency in messaging, engagement strategy, and dealer coverage.
    • Monitor DDR goals, performance, and market penetration.
    • Partner with HR on recruiting, retention, and development.
    • Manage sales budget and related expenses.
  • Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team's and the company's mission.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years managing a sales team.
  • Minimum 3 years in indirect lending or dealer development.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
