Job description

Job Summary:

As a Bartender at Indian Hills Country Club, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our members and their guests. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, while providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in mixology and knowledge of our drink menu will ensure a high-quality experience for our patrons. Additionally, you will maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and collaborate with other staff members to support the overall operations of the club. A friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and breakdown bars as needed.
  • Prepare alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
  • Interact with members and guests.
  • Take orders and enter them into the POS system.
  • Assess member’s needs and preferences and make recommendations.
  • Restock bar inventory and supplies.
  • Assistant management in maintaining liquor storage and preparing daily beverage activities.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to execute house recipes and techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and cleaned.

Education:

  • High school diploma

Experience:

  • Proven working experience as a bartender

Working Conditions:

  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required

Salary and Benefits:

  • $18/hr - $24/hr – Based on experience
