Job description

INDIAN PREFERENCE POLICY: Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (Title 25, USC. Section 472). POSITION: HOUSEKEEPER DEPARTMENT: HOTEL REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF HOTEL OPERATIONS PAY RATE: $15.00/HOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Cleaning of guest rooms as company requirements Assisting as needed in laundry and public areas Maintaining the stocking of housekeeping cars with linen and guest supplies Responding to guest request and needs Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair Perform deep cleaning tasks per company requirements Greet all guests in a friendly manner Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight throughout the shift Ability to work in a team environment Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Must be age 18 or older Cannot be convicted of a felony High school diploma or GED preferred Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace (English) Requires bending, finger dexterity, grasping, standing Must pass a pre-employment drug test and qualify for a gaming license PUBLIC RELATIONS: Important attributes of any employee of the Havasu Landing Casino and Hotel, along with the official performance of duties, are personal appearance and public relations
