Position Overview

The National Manager, Independent Sales Representatives (ISRs) is responsible for growing and leading Currie Medicalโ€™s national network of independent sales representatives and partners. The role will have oversight of Currie's network of both 1099 manufacturers reps and medical sales firms. This individual will drive revenue growth by strengthening existing ISR performance, recruiting and onboarding new ISRs, and ensuring all representatives are equipped with the tools, training, and product knowledge needed to succeed in the field.
This role combines elements of sales leadership, business development, and channel management. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on โ€” capable of developing relationships with independent reps while holding them accountable to sales goals, compliance standards, and brand integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Currie Medicalโ€™s national network of Independent Sales Representatives (ISRs) to ensure alignment with company objectives and sales targets.
  • Develop and execute a national ISR growth strategy, including recruitment of high-performing new partners in underrepresented territories.
  • Increase revenue production from existing ISRs through coaching, territory planning, and performance tracking.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with ISR partners to assess progress, share best practices, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide onboarding, sales enablement, and ongoing training to ensure ISRs maintain deep product and industry knowledge.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Currieโ€™s product portfolio and clinical value proposition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Clinical Education, Operations) to support ISR success and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and feedback from the field to inform Currieโ€™s sales strategy.
  • Ensure ISRs adhere to Currieโ€™s brand standards, pricing policies, and compliance expectations.
  • Travel moderately (approximately 25โ€“40%) for territory visits, training sessions, and national sales meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in medical device sales or channel management, with a strong track record of working with independent sales organizations or distributors.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate third-party sales partners to achieve revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of hospital purchasing, contracting, and clinical decision-making processes.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Self-motivated, data-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities across diverse regions.
  • Experience in pneumatic compression, DVT prevention, or related medical device categories preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
