RECRUITING SOURCER (INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR)

Contract Assignment: August 2026 – Approximately March 2027

Pay Range $1,100 - $1,700 /week

The Mennel Milling Company is looking for an experienced Recruiting Sourcer to join our team on a full-time but temporary contract basis. In this role, you'll partner closely with our Corporate Recruiter to source exceptional talent, build strong candidate pipelines, and support the full recruiting process from sourcing through pre-employment coordination.

What You'll Do

  • Using ADP’s ATS and HireEz, source and engage active and passive candidates through job boards, professional networks, social media, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
  • Build talent pipelines for difficult-to-fill and critical positions.
  • Review resumes, conduct candidate outreach, and perform phone screenings.
  • Evaluate candidates and present qualified recommendations to the Corporate Recruiter.
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Schedule pre-employment physicals and required screenings while tracking completion of all pre-employment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting records and provide regular updates on recruiting activity, candidate pipelines, and hiring progress.
  • Submit bi-weekly reports detailing hours worked, recruiting activities, and the status of active searches.

  • Proven experience as a recruiter with strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills.
  • Success recruiting passive candidates and filling challenging positions.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Work Arrangement

This contract assignment is expected to run from August 2026 through approximately March 2027. The position will begin as an onsite role to support training and onboarding, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid work arrangement once training has been successfully completed.

Independent contractor expectations.

  • This is an independent contractor (1099) position.
  • Contractor is responsible for their own taxes and business expenses.
  • Primary work hours and responsiveness during Mennel Milling’s normal business hours is expected.
