Our client is seeking certified and non-certified paraprofessionals for the 2026-27 School year to provide 1:1 and classroom care with students. The paraprofessional should be a hardworking, honest, reliable and responsible individual to work with children with medical and behavioral needs.
The Special Education Paraprofessional supports teachers in meeting the educational, behavioral and social emotional needs of students with disabilities in the classroom and community.
CLIENT'S SUMMARY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Assists the teacher in the preparation of educational materials for students.
*Works individually with students and/or in small groups to help reinforce learning objectives.
*Collecting behavioral data, adapting materials, and occasionally assisting with personal care
*Participates in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
*Reinforcing IEP goals
*Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of college credit (minimum of approved 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours) with transcripts OR passing score on the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment Test required.
