Job Summary

Yogi Capital is seeking motivated, driven, and entrepreneurial Independent Sales Representatives to join its growing business funding platform. This is a commission-only, 1099 independent contractor opportunity designed for individuals who are comfortable with sales, lead generation, business development, and client relationship management.


The Independent Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying prospective business clients, educating them on Yogi Capital’s funding products and services, assisting with the application process, and helping move qualified opportunities through the sales pipeline.


This role is best suited for a self-starter who is confident speaking with business owners, comfortable working in a performance-based environment, and motivated by uncapped earning potential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Market and promote Yogi Capital’s business funding products and services to prospective clients.
  • Identify, contact, and develop relationships with business owners who may benefit from funding solutions.
  • Conduct outbound calls, follow-ups, and ongoing communication with prospective merchants.
  • Explain available funding options, general process expectations, and required documentation.
  • Assist interested clients with completing and submitting applications.
  • Collect and help organize required documentation, including bank statements and business information.
  • Qualify prospective applicants based on company guidelines and funding requirements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospects throughout the application and funding process.
  • Track lead activity, follow-ups, and deal status through the company’s CRM or designated system.
  • Collaborate with internal team members, closers, managers, and funding partners as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism and compliance when communicating with prospective clients.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws related to marketing, sales, and commercial financing.


Qualifications

  • Prior sales, business development, lending, merchant cash advance, financial services, or B2B sales experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and following up consistently with prospects.
  • Ability to explain business funding options in a clear and professional manner.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently without direct day-to-day supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a commission-only environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems, lead tracking, or sales pipelines preferred.
  • Knowledge of business lending, merchant funding, or alternative financing is a plus.


Compensation Structure

This is a 1099 independent contractor position and is commission only. Compensation is based on closed and funded business generated by the Independent Sales Representative, in accordance with the company’s commission structure.


There is no hourly wage, salary, or guaranteed compensation. Representatives have the opportunity to earn income based on production, performance, and successfully funded transactions.
