Performance Drone Works (PDW) is building the next generation of tactical robotic systems used across defense, national security, and public safety missions. We are building a new center of engineering excellence to design our new category of tactical robotic systems and the industrial capacity to deliver them, bringing decisive airpower into the hands of every operator. You will join a team of operators, engineers, and builders who solve hard problems with humility and focus. Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Material Handler to support our inventory management program. This role plays a critical role in receiving, inspecting, issuing, and maintaining material both systematically in the ERP system and physically in the warehouse and production operation. As a material handler, you will ensure process and procedures are followed to ensure inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience including picking, kitting, work order material issuance, repack, and delivery processes. A solid understanding of ERP material movement, inventory accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
What You'll Do

  • Kitting materials for work orders to support production in a multi-assembly operation.
  • Repacking incoming materials and material storage organization.
  • Receive and put-away materials into ERP system (NetSuite).
  • Cycle counting maintaining accurate inventory and transactions.
  • Demonstrate a high proficiency with company's ERP system (NetSuite) for kitting, receiving, and work order transactions.
  • Analysis and critical thinking when problem solving inventory accuracy issues.
  • Work with external and internal vendors to resolve paperwork discrepancies to support work order transactions and receiving process with an advanced understanding of ERP with an emphasis on material movement and consumption.
  • Ability to analyze material discrepancies and resolve in ERP system with root cause analysis .
  • Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) and dispositioning of material.
  • Continuous improvement aware and willingness to help improve processes.
Requirement
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment within material warehouse and materials management.
  • Proven experience as a material handler with focus on receiving, kitting, issuing kits, work order processing, and inventory movement both physically and in ERP system.
  • Inventory auditing and corrections along with Inventory Adjustments.
  • Conscientious, responsible, with interpersonal skills to work with technical and non-technical staff.
  • A keen eye for detail working with small parts, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity in MS Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Some experience with LEAN principles such as 5S, visual factory, Kanban, and waste elimination.
  • NetSuite ERP experience, especially warehouse management system and advance manufacturing module.
  • Experience in a DoD contractor operation including ITAR, DFAR, and FAR basic understanding.
  • Basic understanding of sUAS systems and quad-copters.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift / carry up to 50 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment as well as manufacturing and test equipment, industrial computers, HMIs, and handheld diagnostic tools. Must be physically capable of walking production floors, accessing equipment in constrained spaces, participating in factory acceptance testing, and supporting on-site system deployments.
Work Environment
This position typically operates in a standard office setting and manufacturing environment. This role requires use of standard office equipment and may involve exposure to manufacturing equipment, automated machinery, test systems, and industrial materials. This position may have exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and non-climate-controlled environments. May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the environment. This is a fast-paced work environment and requires cross-departmental collaboration with independent and team-based responsibilities. Standard work hours for this position are full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as operational needs demand.
