Job description

Help us service members of Volusia County who are 60+ years of age to reach their destination to obtain food and medical care. Weston Transportations Enterprise Inc. (WTE) is looking for Independent Drivers to provide local transportation to neighborhood dining sites in Volusia County using multiple passenger vehicles (vans and mini vans). Must be available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Benefits of being an independent contractor:

Requirements:
  • Hold a valid and clean Florida State Driver License
  • No Felonies or Misdemeanors
  • Must Pass a criminal background check
  • Pass a physical and drug test
  • Speak, hear, and/or communicate effectively in English, using proper grammar and vocabulary
  • Desire and ability to transport individuals throughout Volusia County area
  • CPR Certification and First Aid Certification a plus
  • Must be vigilant for other's welfare (cognitive, mobility, grooming, etc.)
