Job description

Staples Inventory Management Contractor

Looking for an organized, detail-oriented contractor to manage the Staples inventory being sold from Amazon warehouses:

  • Record PO adjustments for our 3rd party provider
  • Record inventory movements between 3rd party provider and Amazon warehouses
  • Reconcile inventory between the 3rd party and Amazon systems and Staples inventory system
  • Monitor Amazon reporting for any adjustments to book in our inventory system
  • Monitor customer returns to Amazon for product disposition and reflect accordingly in our system
  • Partner with SDS (Staples Digital Solutions) to automate processes
  • Partner with Amazon and tax team to provide inventory by state on a monthly basis
  • Suggest process improvement ideas and implement controls to ensure inventory integrity and accuracy

Skills:

  • 2+ years of related accounting experience, including data entry and strong MS Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize workload

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Inventory reconciliation experience
