Job description

SCM Master Data Analyst

Trident Seafoods is North America's largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company. Trident is a privately held, 100 percent USA-owned company with global operations in 6 countries and serves customers in almost 60 countries. Headquartered in Seattle, Washington (USA), Trident employs approximately 7,700 people worldwide each year and partners with over 2,700 independent fishermen and crewmembers in Alaska. Trident catches and processes virtually every commercial species of salmon, whitefish, and crab harvested in the North Pacific and Alaska. The global supply chain also encompasses cultured and wild species sourced from an international network of trusted suppliers.

Summary: This analyst role will be a gatekeeper for all processes and associated SAP set up supporting global operations dedicated to order fulfillment, MD (Master Data) and SCM (supply chain management) processes.

Change Management & Communication

  • Lead small group discussions to facilitate organizational change management initiatives.
  • Communicate change effectively through written and oral presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Translate business process requirements into clear documentation for technical teams, consultants, and executive leadership.

Business Process Leadership

  • Serve as the business process lead, ensuring the establishment and maintenance of efficient processes.
  • Document workflows and develop training materials to guide users on when and how to apply processes. Work includes preparing business requirements documents, process mapping, SOPs and job aids.

Solution Design & Collaboration

  • Partner with the Center of Excellence (CoE) to define global solutions within SAP (SCM/Procurement Order Fulfillment).
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on solution design. Work may include light project management activities.

Master Data Governance

  • Act as the global Master Gatekeeper for all master data workflows.
  • Ensure business owners are knowledgeable and compliant when requesting master data objects (materials, vendors, customers).

Reporting & Analytics Intake

  • Manage the intake process for reporting requirements from business units.
  • Prioritize and coordinate reporting requests to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $116,000 to $132,000.

Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. Minimum Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum an Associate degree or least 10 years in process improvement with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in SAP
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of record to report processes (transaction recording, closing cycle, consolidation, reporting), organizational designs, and technology/information
  • Familiarity with record to report tools (i.e. SAP, SAP's Group Reporting tool, Blackline, etc.)
  • Strong experience in all phases of the RTR process, transformation initiatives, internal controls, continuous improvement methodologies, risk management practices, policies / procedures development, change management, and project management

Preferred Education & Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in business related field (or other related degree programs)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Proficient with Project Management Software (Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiating skills
  • Perceptive to business requirements and is adaptable to pivot when the business changes
  • Preparation of business requirements documented for senior leadership
  • Experience leading presentations and/or training sessions
  • Experience creating and completing companywide training and/or communication documents

Work environment:

This is an on-site position based at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
