What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Independent Contractor Commission Sales professional, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Independent Contractor Commission Sales professional, you need strong sales acumen, self-motivation, and knowledge of the products or services being sold, often backed by prior sales experience or industry expertise. Familiarity with CRM software, digital communication tools, and sometimes sales certifications such as Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP) are valuable. Outstanding networking, negotiation, and resilience help you build client relationships and persist through challenges. These skills are crucial because success in commission sales relies on individual initiative, effective relationship-building, and leveraging technology to meet and exceed sales targets.

What are some common challenges faced by independent contractor commission sales professionals, and how can they be managed?

Independent contractor commission sales professionals often face challenges such as inconsistent income, the need to self-motivate, and building a reliable client base without direct company support. To manage these challenges, successful contractors typically develop strong time management skills, invest in ongoing networking, and use customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track leads and follow-ups efficiently. Additionally, maintaining a disciplined routine and regularly seeking feedback can help sustain motivation and improve sales performance.

What are Independent Contractor Commission Sales?

Independent Contractor Commission Sales professionals are individuals who sell products or services on behalf of a company but are not employees of that company. Instead, they operate as independent contractors, earning income primarily through commissions based on the sales they generate. This role offers flexibility and the potential for uncapped earnings, but does not typically include employee benefits like health insurance or paid time off. Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes and business expenses, and they often have the freedom to set their own schedules and work with multiple clients or companies.

Our products combine medical-grade German engineering, elegant design, and app-guided simplicity-used across medical clinics, wellness & beauty providers, and sports recovery environments.

We partner with professionals who care about outcomes, trust, and long-term relationships.

Role Overview

We are expanding our presence in the U.S. and are looking for experienced, self-driven Independent Sales Representatives to grow Flowell across medical, wellness, beauty, and sports recovery accounts.

This is a non-exclusive, commission-only role for entrepreneurial reps who already know how to build and manage B2B relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Represent Flowell as a trusted, non-exclusive sales partner in Florida
  • Prospect, open, and manage qualified B2B accounts, including:
    • Compression therapy & DME providers
    • Med spas, wellness & body-contouring clinics
    • OB/GYN, PT, chiropractic & recovery practices
    • Sports recovery centers, trainers & boutique fitness studios
    • Lymphedema & vein clinics
  • Educate partners on Flowell products, positioning, and use cases
  • Coordinate demos, introductions, and follow-ups
  • Forward customer purchase orders to Flowell
  • Support partners before and after sale (non-clinical)
  • Participate in local events, demos, and community activations
  • Maintain pipeline visibility and regular communication with the Flowell team

What You Don't Do

  • You do not set pricing or commercial terms
  • You do not sign contracts on Flowell's behalf
  • You do not sell into excluded mass-market or unauthorized channels
  • You do not represent competing compression therapy products

Compensation & Structure

  • 12.5% commission on Net Sales Amount
  • Paid monthly, 30 days after customer payment is received
  • No cap, no base salary
  • All expenses are self-covered
  • Independent contractor (1099), non-exclusive

Training & Support

  • Structured onboarding and product training by the Flowell team
  • Sales materials, pricing, demos, and product education provided
  • Ongoing support, updates, and collaboration

Ideal Background

  • B2B sales experience in medical, wellness, beauty, DME, or sports recovery
  • Existing Florida-based professional network
  • Comfortable explaining medical-adjacent products clearly and responsibly
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong follow-through
  • Relationship-first, not transactional

Why Flowell

  • Fast-growing category with strong demand (women's health, recovery, wellness)
  • High-quality, differentiated product portfolio
  • Medical credibility + lifestyle and performance appeal
  • Long-term partnership mindset
