Job description

Our House Inc. is seeking Independent Contractors to become Host Home Providers or Residential Providers to perform residential services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These services include both host homes, where individuals live with a paid provider in the provider's own personal residence and apartment supports, where providers assist individuals living in their own apartments.
Types of services provided may include but are not limited to:
  • Personal care/Hygiene
  • Supervision
  • Scheduling, Transporting and Attending Medical Appointments
  • Community Participation
  • Advocacy
  • Financial Management
  • Medication Management
  • Development of Independent Skills (Cooking, Laundry, Safety, Cleaning, Making friends, Personal Hygiene needs, etc.)

Requirements:
  • Safe, stable and caring home environment (Host Home Only)
  • Available bedroom in your home (Host Home Only)
  • Passion for working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
  • Excellent communication and written/computer skills
  • Pass Background, Motor Vehicle and Reference checks
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle to transport individual
  • CPR/First Aid Certified
  • Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP)

Not Required, but Desired Qualities:
  • Experience, training and being skilled at working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
  • Medical/Certified Nursing Assistance experience

No experience required. Pay is determined by Individual's level of care.
