Hackbarth Delivery Service, Inc is a leading logistics and distribution company committed to delivering excellence in service. We take pride in our dedicated team, and we're looking for Independent Contractors who own or lease a 24ft - 26ft Box truck to partner with us in our mission to efficiently handle and distribute goods to our customers. As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy flexibility, competitive compensation, and the chance to run your own transportation business with our support.
General Route Summary:
The driver will be handling retail, wholesale, industrial, and medical supplies. All routes are 5 days/week with occasional Saturday deliveries.
**You Must own or lease your own Vehicle**
Vehicle type needed: 24ft - 26ft Box Truck with liftgate
Pay Rate: Starting at $1150.00 per day.
  • Schedules Available: Monday through Friday: 5:00am to 3:00pm hours may vary depending on the route.
  • Total Miles: 675
  • Total Stops: 3
  • Weight: Weight: Heaviest piece weighs 50 lbs. May have 3-5 of these per day or more.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate a 16ft box truck to deliver goods to various destinations.
  • Ensure the secure and timely transport of cargo, following all safety and traffic regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate deliveries and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and care.

Qualifications:
  • Must own or lease a 24ft - 26ft box truck.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of navigational devices.
  • Experience as a cargo/sprinter van driver preferred.
  • Must be over 21.
  • Knowledge of local roads and routes.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy packages (Up to 50lbs).
  • Reliable and punctual.
