Job description

Position Summary:We are seeking experienced commercial flooring installers and established installation crews to partner with us as independent contractors (1099) on projects across the United States. This role requires a willingness and ability to travel nationwide for installations.The ideal candidate or crew is experienced in commercial flooring installation, detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of delivering high-quality work independently.Important: This is not a W-2 employee position. We are specifically seeking hands-on installers and crews who provide their own tools, transportation, and labor.Key Responsibilities:Install commercial flooring materials, including:Carpet (broadloom and carpet tile)Vinyl flooring (VCT, LVT, sheet vinyl)Sports flooring systemsLaminate and rubber flooringCeramic, porcelain, and other tileRead and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specificationsPerform floor preparation, including:Leveling, patching, and grindingMoisture mitigationOperate and maintain professional flooring installation tools and equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentCommunicate effectively with project managers and jobsite personnelComplete projects on schedule while meeting commercial quality standardsFollow all safety requirements and job site protocolsMinimum RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of commercial flooring installation experienceMust provide: Own tools and installation equipmentReliable transportationAbility to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical laborStrong work ethic, reliability, and professionalismAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionMust meet jobsite background or clearance requirements, if applicablePreferred QualificationsExperience on large-scale commercial projects (e.g., healthcare, education, retail)Certifications such as Ardex, Schonox, or other leveling/moisture systemsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationFamiliarity with industry standards such as CFI or INSTALLEstablished crews with multiple installersWhy Partner With UsOngoing commercial project opportunitiesConsistent workflow for reliable crewsStrong communication and project coordinationLong-term partnership potential based on performance
