Healthcare Programs Recruiter Harcum College, a progressive, independent, associate degree granting college in Bryn Mawr, PA, has an immediate opening for a Healthcare Degree Programs Recruiter (Non-Traditional Students)Position SummaryThe Healthcare Degree Programs Recruiter is responsible for recruiting adult and non-traditional students into the College's healthcare degree programs. This role focuses on developing and nurturing relationships with healthcare employers, Human Resources professionals, workforce development partners, and community organizations throughout the Delaware Valley region. The Recruiter serves as a front-facing ambassador for the College, engaging prospective students where they live and work, particularly individuals considering career changes or advancement within the healthcare field.
The Recruiter will report to the Executive Vice President and work closely with the Program Directors of Allied Health Science programs. The Recruiter will attend advisory board meetings, program specific alumni meetings, and other events that will support the development of a robust network. The recruiter will also work with the office of Career & Transfer Services to identify key local employers who are contacting the college to connect with graduates and students.
This position requires a high-energy, creative, and people-centered professional who is comfortable working in diverse settings and adept at building trust-based relationships.
Key Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with healthcare employers, hospital systems, long-term care facilities, clinics, and related organizations to promote healthcare degree programs.
- Engage directly with Human Resources offices, workforce development teams, and training managers to identify opportunities for employee education, upskilling, and career transitions.
- Represent the College at job fairs, career fairs, employer-hosted events, community events, and other venues likely to attract adult learners and career changers.
- Conduct informational sessions, presentations, and one-on-one conversations with prospective students, both on-site and virtually.
- Collaborate with academic leadership, admissions, and marketing staff to align recruitment strategies with program goals and labor market needs.
- Track outreach activities, leads, and outcomes using CRM or other institutional systems.
- Stay informed about healthcare workforce trends, licensure pathways, and evolving employer needs within the region.
- Travel regularly throughout the Delaware Valley region, including evenings and occasional weekends, as required.
Required Qualifications - Understanding of healthcare professions and career pathways (clinical and/or non-clinical).
- Experience in sales, recruiting, admissions, employer relations, or business development.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain professional relationships with employers and community partners.
- Comfort working independently in a variety of environments, including healthcare facilities, corporate offices, community sites, and event venues.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.
Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience recruiting adult or non-traditional students.
- Familiarity with workforce development, continuing education, or higher education environments.
- Experience working with Human Resources professionals or talent development teams.
