Caregiver – Immediate Opening | Berwick, PA

$15/hour | Morning & Evening Hours Available | No Experience Required

Immediate Caregiver Opening in Berwick

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers for an immediate opening with a client in Berwick, PA.

Current Hours Available

Monday–Saturday

Morning: 8:00 AM–10:00 AM
Evening: 8:00 PM–9:00 PM

You do not need to be available for every shift. Available hours may be split between caregivers based on availability.

Pay: $15/hour

This opportunity may be a great fit for someone looking for consistent morning or evening hours, supplemental income, or part-time caregiving work that fits around another job or schedule.

You'll provide one-on-one, non-medical care in the client's home and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent.

No professional caregiving experience? That's okay. If you're reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we'd love to talk with you.

What You'll Do

Depending on the needs of the individual you're supporting, you may:

  • Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming

  • Help with mobility and everyday activities

  • Prepare meals

  • Complete light housekeeping

  • Provide companionship and conversation

  • Assist with errands or appointments when needed

  • Follow the individual's care plan

  • Document the services you provide

You must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older

  • Have a valid driver's license

  • Have reliable transportation

  • Be dependable, caring and patient

  • Be available for at least some of the currently available Berwick shifts

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
