Summary: Attorneys designated at Dickinson Wright PLLC (the "Firm") as Income Members will join a supportive working environment with a firm having a national platform while handling sophisticated matters for some of the nation's largest and most innovative companies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities of staff designated as Income Member at the Firm include, but are not limited to:
  1. Case Review and Legal Research:
    1. Reviewing legal issues related to client matters.
    2. Conducting thorough legal research to understand in depth the elements of the matter.
    3. Analyzing official documentation.
  2. Legal Representation and Strategy:
    1. Advising and representing clients.
    2. Formulating effective legal strategies.
    3. Seeking timely and cost-effective solutions to manage legal matters.
    4. Exploring alternatives to trial, such as negotiation and settlements.
  3. Court Appearances and Advocacy:
    1. Representing clients in court hearings.
    2. Arguing motions on their behalf.
    3. Taking the lead in complex, strategic, or sensitive negotiations.
  4. Mentoring and Leadership:
    1. Providing guidance to other attorneys and legal support staff.
    2. Sharing expertise and mentoring junior colleagues.
  5. Statutory Compliance and Document Management:
    1. Managing legal documents.
    2. Reviewing options for various strategies.
    3. Handling statutory filings.
  6. Establish minimum required WAR and BAR revenue for 3 consecutive years.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities Required:
Attorneys must have worked a minimum of 5 years as an Associate Attorney or a combined 5 years as an Associate Attorney or Judicial Clerk.
Attorneys must possess strong analytic, writing and communication skills.
Working Conditions:
Normal law office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, temperature.
