THE JOB
We are currently looking for an Income Auditor to oversee critical accounting functions for various locations in the Greater Boston Area. Responsible for assisting the Accounting Team with auditing shows. Also maintaining good communication with the Talent Department and assisting them with any show related needs.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Recording manual checks, wires and taxes paid in Oracle.
  • Facilitate band payments and manage all related paperwork (wires, checks, tax w/holding). This will involve a large amount of communication with our Talent Department.
  • Auditing show settlements.
  • Preparing show Flashes (financials) and booking show journal entries.
  • Finalize venue shows prior to month end.
  • Assist with Processing of Manual Checks, Wires and Tax payments.
  • Provide audit support as needed.
  • Communicate accounts receivable with intercompany departments to ensure they are cleared monthly.
  • Prepare and record Journal Entries as assigned.
  • Maintain Project Listing for venue events.
  • Assist Team with month-end close.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Any additional duties requested by team leads including but not limited to: Sr. Accountants, FM, Director of Accounting and/or Regional VP of Finance.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work 8+ hours daily, Monday - Friday during normal business hours. Normal business hours in this case are 10am - 6pm. You may be required to work late, or on a weekend and/or holiday during month end close. Month end close consists of the last day of the month through the first week of the month. Must be able to multi-task, follow up, communicate with staff/management in a positive manner, be organized and meet strict deadlines.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$22.1 USD - $27.68 USD Hourly
