* Our fully resident-run urban clinic in New Britain is seeking an Internal Medicine physician with primary care experience to support our team in a dedicated precepting role. This position offers the opportunity to teach, mentor, and guide residents in a dynamic training environment while providing high-quality patient care.
- Supervise and teach 5-6 residents per session during afternoon clinics (1:00-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday), including joint patient exams and direct supervision of interns July-December
- Support clinical operations by overseeing inbox management, prescription requests, and related administrative tasks
- Manage a patient load of approximately 18-25 patients per half day while working alongside another attending physician
- Participate in shared call every third week, with residents taking first call and contacting the attending as needed
- Provide coverage beginning mid-June and continuing until a full-time physician is hired; candidates must be Internal Medicine-trained physicians with primary care experience
