Job description

Senior Manager, Sales Development

Procurify is the AI-enhanced procurement and AP automation platform for the mid-market. We make it easy for organizations to take control of spend and save money. Weโ€™re looking for a talented and team-driven Senior Manager, Sales Development to join us on our journey.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Procurify is looking for a motivating and inspiring person who is passionate about leading growing sales professionals.

ย

You are a person with a knack for leadership, developing talent, and building and refining processes and youโ€™re motivated by helping our customers achieve the best version of themselves. You will be joining a team of high performers who excel at building relationships and crushing quotas.

ย

Everyone at Procurify is a team player. This role will be responsible for managing performance, creating strategic plays/tactics, hiring and promoting talent, and driving funnel performance all the way to revenue. Weโ€™re seeking entrepreneurial people who are willing to challenge the status quo and contribute to larger strategic objectives.

This role will also play a part in how we continue to evolve as an AI-enhanced platform โ€” whether through improving how work gets done, contributing to AI-enabled product experiences, or helping teams and customers operate more effectively using data and automation.

What youโ€™ll be working on
  • Lead and scale a high-performing BDR organization, driving strategic outbound pipeline generation while overseeing inbound lead management to ensure high-quality qualification and consistent conversion

  • Set the long-term vision and strategic direction for the outbound function, aligning initiatives with broader revenue and go-to-market goals

  • The BDR organization reports into Sales Leadership, and you will align closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to build, refine, and execute strategic plays for building high-quality, conversion-ready pipeline

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Product to develop integrated programs that drive consistent, high-quality lead generation and conversion

  • Establish a data-driven performance culture by developing robust reporting, forecasting, and coaching systems

  • Identify and implement new tools, processes, and workflows to optimize team efficiency and scalability

  • Champion cross-functional collaboration and influence key strategic decisions across GTM teams

  • Act as a leader-coach: mentor emerging managers, support career development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement

  • Represent the voice of the outbound team to senior leadership, surfacing trends, challenges, and opportunities

  • Own and refine the playbook for scaling teams, territories, and talent in a dynamic growth environment

  • Help create a scalable path to promotion for top BDRโ€™s progressing to SMB AEโ€™s

KPIโ€™s

Core Areas of Focus beyond quota achievement:

  • Conversion Ratios: Meeting-to-opportunity conversion and pipeline revenue value.

  • Speed to Lead: Monitoring and optimizing team SLA response times on incoming prospects.

  • Dial Volume: Driving accountability around consistent daily team activities (calls, emails, connects).

  • Forecast Accuracy: Managing weekly pipeline tracking and leveraging data/AI automation to predict revenue.

  • Team Development: Conducting daily coaching on pitch/objection handling to drive continuous improvement on team goals.

Who weโ€™re looking for
  • 5+ years of progressive sales or business development experience, including 2+ years leading outbound BDR or SDR teams at scale

  • Proven success leading teams to consistently hit or exceed pipeline and revenue quotas, with a track record of driving year-over-year metric improvements

  • Strategic mindset with a strong operational background โ€” able to translate high-level goals into executable roadmaps

  • Deep understanding of outbound sales motions, metrics, and leading indicators of success

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator with experience influencing stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations

  • Track record of coaching and developing high-potential individuals and leaders

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and storytelling skills

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Experience with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and Looker (or similar analytics platforms)

  • Bonus: Experience in SaaS, high-growth startups, or in industries like procurement, finance, or operations

  • For customer-facing roles, maintains an up-to-date LinkedIn profile and ensures it is refreshed upon joining, to reflect their role at Procurify and help maintain a consistent, professional presence across our GTM team.
