Job description

Job Summary:
Works Independently and is responsible for the handling of raw materials, incoming of the warehouse, unloading, picking, packing, counting, checking items to maintain inventory. Responsible for receiving transfers after inspection has been completed. Also responsible for picking/staging outgoing shipments, operating forklifts, assisting in transfers between locations, sanitation, and general warehouse tasks where needed. Moves materials within a warehouse and completes other warehouse support tasks. Operates hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures. Input information into warehouse management system.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Unloading FTL and LTL on receiving floor. 
  • Inspecting product for damages and quantity-document any issues and bring to managements attention.
  • Handling paperwork from driver-input necessary information within the system if needed. 
  • Checking lot numbers and filling out company inbound & outbound sheet. 
  • Communicating with warehouse manager regarding incoming & outgoing shipments. 
  • Pick & stage outgoing orders for shipping. 
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks such as transfers between warehouses and organization. 
  • Printing, sending, and emailing required COAs. · Assist with sanitation and upkeep of warehouse. 
  • Other Duties assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.

  • Able to confidently operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and scissor lifts. 
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and effective working relationship with other employees.
  • Ability to treat sensitive and confidential information with discretion. 
  • Able to navigate internal system. 

Required Qualifications:
  • 1-3 Years working in a warehouse. 
  • 1+ years Operating forklift.
  • Highschool degree or equivalent.
  • Bilingual a plus.

Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. 
  • Warehouse production environment.
  • Travel-Less than 10% of the time.
  • Standing majority of shift.
  • Noise typical of a production and warehouse environment, majority of shift.
  • Must be willing to work extended shifts.
  • Must be willing to work weekends.
