As a Senior Operations Manager, our ideal candidate will be supporting the Director of Operations by being the primary leader responsible for the end-to-end operational execution of our distribution center.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of all inbound and outbound departments.
  • Additional responsibilities include managing and leading a team of managers and supervisors, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the distribution center.
  • Provides strategic and operational leadership with full accountability for P&L results.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor long and short-range operating plans to support the needs and growth of the business.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment in compliance with OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and other regulations
  • Participate in creating and executing annual operating budgets in partnership with the Director of the distribution center.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse layouts, reduce waste, and improve overall facility efficiency.
  • Mentor and coach a leadership bench, fostering a culture of accountability, high engagement, and professional growth.
  • Work closely with all business partners to ensure multiple directives are met.
  • Maintain all established through-put standards.
  • Meet budget goals and productivity standards.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of progressive experience managing multiple DC functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools.
  • Successful track record of managing facility culture, e.g. motivation, team engagement, coaching.
  • Proficiency in material handling equipment and distribution processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift, up to 75lbs.
  • Temperatures in the warehouse vary with the seasons. Dress code is casual and clean.

Salary Range for the Senior Operations Manager position in Virginia - $140,000 - $165,000 Annually

Full time and Part time associates are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service.

Benefits for full-time employment on the first of the month following 30 days of continuous employment include offerings for programs including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending, Commuter Benefits and Employee Assistance.
