Job description


The Administrative Support I will provide administrative support to all managers. These responsibilities may include route monitoring, clerical duties, filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails, assisting in driver training and onboarding documents for inexperienced drivers. Qualified candidates will have a strong ability to multi-task and a friendly demeanor.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Assemble and audit route paperwork for the next day
  • Answer inbound phone calls
  • Ability to handle customer issues
  • Contact vendors on inbound damage or replacement orders
  • Respond to email in a timely manner
  • Address pending orders
  • File paperwork
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Act in a professional and an appropriate manner
  • Assist in the processing of inbound delivery teams
  • Monitor the delivery routes of the course of your shift
  • Assist in the track route progress, as needed; call Drivers every hour to address issues as needed
  • Call customers to obtain their feedback regarding their delivery experience
  • Assist in the completion of POD packets that are available at the warehouse
  • Responsible for the closing reports on a nightly basis
  • Works well without direct supervision, professional demeanor, strong communication and customer service skills
  • Process daily working orders, respond to Logistics Coordinator their status
  • Answer inbound phone calls from customers and delivery teams
  • Print Pull Sheet and Mark Live Daily in warehouse
  • Responsible for finding and submitting requested EPODs
  • File all documents as needed
  • Accountable and reliable
  • Effectively communicate with builder, general contractors, and supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Process and prepare freight for shipments/returns to vendors (RTVs)
  • Assit with daily warehouse functions as needed
  • Update inventory - daily/weekly/monthly as required
  • Route monitor and remotely assist delivery and installation teams as needed
  • Accurately update orders for billing as needed
  • Answer inbound phone calls as needed
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, post high school education a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, etc.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask must be detail oriented and be able to work in a fast-paced office environment
  • Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays
  • Pass pre-employment background check
  • Maintain professional and safe work environment
  • Skills: customer service, detail oriented, organizational skills, time management, problem solving, accountable, dependable, documentation skills, analyzing data, professional phone skills, ability to resolve conflict, ability to listen, ability to multitask

Shift: Open availability from open 7am to close at 7:30pm Monday - Saturday. The off day will be discussed later on.
