About the team you are joining

This is an exciting opportunity to own and drive a training products portfolio within IATA Training team. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, Airport & Ground Operations Training, the incumbent is responsible for implementing the product roadmap for the People Skills, General Management and Environmental Sustainability training portfolio, ensuring that the products remain relevant and attractive for the marketplace

What your day would be like

The incumbent in this position, while ensuring constant innovation and enhancement in accordance with aviation industry needs and departmental business targets, will also be responsible for implementing the latest approach in learning industry across all training delivery formats supporting capacity development across all functional levels.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic business plans for the assigned Management and SustainabilityTraining portfolio;
  • Identify, define, evaluate, and champion new product ideas/enhancements andservice opportunities, and oversee their implementation;
  • Develop new training products and update/enhance existing ones in line withindustry needs, converting the latest industry standards and publications intorelevant courses;
  • Maintain and develop faculty membership worldwide, through careful selection,recruitment and management of external instructors and subject matter experts;
  • Execute the marketing and sales strategies in collaboration with the sales andmarketing groups, the Line of Business Head, and the Regional sales teams;
    Identify and implement cross selling and product bundling opportunities withother lines of business (Publications, Certification & Training Validation,Consulting);
  • Manage the Management and Sustainability Training budget and achieve financialtargets;
  • Oversee the product delivery process, ensuring high quality courses inaccordance with the Standards defined by the Design & Quality team;
  • Manage training production and distribution activities on an ongoing basisensuring Training partners get appropriate information for them to deliver highquality training to their students;
  • Provide timely financial and operational status reports and other relevantinformation;
    Cooperate closely with internal stakeholders and external key accounts for thecoordination and accurate reflection of IATA Standards in training products.
