With over 20 years of experience in Taiwan, Li Jie Industrial specializes in pipeline system installation and maintenance, as well as engineering plastic materials. Together with its partner, the company has worked on high-profile projects for global leaders such as TSMC, UMC, and Chi Mei Optoelectronics.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Engineer Assistant to join our growing team! In this role, you will assist in monitoring and managing engineering processes to ensure they align with company standards, policies, and procedures. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to support the successful execution of projects, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, and help maintain high-quality operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Engineering Department in day-to-day project tasks
  • Assist engineers in preparing and organizing reports, spreadsheets, and other project documents
  • Support material requests, purchase orders, vendor communication, and follow-up on quotations and invoicing
  • Maintain and update project documentation, records, and revision logs to ensure accuracy
  • Assist in preparing submittals, inspection records, and other documentation for client submission
  • Track delivery schedules, inventory status, and billing information for engineering materials and components
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely project progress
  • Translate project-related documents and communications between English and Mandarin as needed
  • Prepare meeting notes, weekly progress summaries, and other administrative documentation
  • Support engineers in data entry, testing documentation, and other assigned project tasks


Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 0–2 years of experience in engineering support, project coordination, administrative, or operations-related roles
  • Experience assisting with quotation preparation, billing documents, invoicing, purchase orders, or payment follow-ups is preferred
  • Basic understanding of cost tracking, vendor billing, or financial documentation is a plus
  • Strong organizational and document management skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
