Fort Lauderdale, FL | Part-Time | Monday-Friday | Every Other Weekend | 4:00pm-8:30pm
Done before 9pm. Every single shift.
Allegro Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Part-Time Dining Server for evening meal service in one of South Florida's premier senior living communities. With consistent weeknight hours and every other weekend, you'll enjoy a predictable schedule that's done well before your evening even gets started.
No late-night closings. No unpredictable restaurant hours. Just meaningful work serving residents who truly appreciate it.
What You'll Do:
  • Serve evening meals with warmth, care, and professionalism
  • Greet and assist residents and guests throughout the dining experience
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment throughout service
  • Deliver and retrieve trays as needed
  • Be a dependable, friendly presence that makes every dinner feel special

What You Bring:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an ALF, restaurant, or hotel setting - preferred

The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
Areas of Responsibility
  • Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
  • Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
  • Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
  • Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents' apartments as needed.
  • Label and date all food.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
  • Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
  • Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.

  • Food serving experience preferred.
