Job Summary:

This position will ensure that the health care needs of all clients are met.ย  The Registered Nurse, RN will ensure that staff is trained in assisted living procedures and policies which are current and up to date.ย  The Registered Nurse, RN will also ensure that Cornerstone Management assigned communities are in compliance with current Assisted Living License regulations. Working cooperatively with the DON to supervise the delivery of services provided to the clients and supervises staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day clinical services and resident care
  • Ensure compliance with state/federal assisted living regulations and lead during surveys
  • Conduct resident assessments, update care plans, and manage service agreements
  • Supervise unlicensed staff, conduct training and performance evaluations
  • Manage medication administration and documentation; follow up on physician orders
  • Serve as on-call clinical support for staff and resident emergencies
  • Maintain accurate records, support infection control, and ensure resident safety
  • Communicate with families, caseworkers, and healthcare providers
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and leadership team on care strategy and operations
Qualifications:
  • Current RN license (unrestricted) in state of employment
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in assisted living or long-term care

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Comfortable with flexible hours, including some evenings/weekends and on-call duties
