How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Champion patient safety and care coordination as the primary advocate in the operating room, monitoring and communicating patient conditions in real time to ensure seamless care before, during, and after procedures.

  • Directly collaborate with the surgical team by assisting physicians with critical tasks-such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning-to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.

  • Manage and optimize the sterile field by expertly selecting, preparing, and handling specialized surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring everything is perfectly primed for a seamless procedure.

  • Prepare and orchestrate the operating environment, ensuring all rooms, supplies, and instruments meet the highest standards of readiness and safety before the patient arrives.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.
    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
