Job Summary and Qualifications:

​​The Pediatric ICU (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department,and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevantstate andspecialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the Pediatrc Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate forpatients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.​ 

What qualifications you will need:
  • Registered Nurse Diploma
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
