Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER)

Location: Clinton, Illinois

Pay Rate: $ 1,800 To $2,016 /Week

Contract: 8 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Saturday, Sunday & Monday

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Experience: Minimum 1 Year of Emergency Department Nursing Experience Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week Emergency Department contract in Clinton, Illinois. This position provides emergency nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment, delivering timely assessments, interventions, and compassionate patient care. The ideal candidate is skilled in emergency nursing, communicates effectively with the healthcare team, and responds confidently to rapidly changing patient conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide emergency nursing care for a wide range of acute conditions.

  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments while monitoring patient responses.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care.

  • Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly with appropriate clinical interventions.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech while ensuring compliance with patient safety and quality standards.

Requirements
  • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License required.

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

  • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required.

  • ENPC, TNCC, or TNS certifications preferred.

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and emergency patient care skills.
