Night Shift Registered Nurse (RNs) - Cumberland, Maryland

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a new opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others? We are seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab, a reputable provider of post-acute care in Cumberland, Maryland, and serving with Pride.

About the Role:

As a Night Shift Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to our residents. You will be responsible for providing individualized care to patients with complex needs, while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes. You will also be expected to maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to resident patients, including administration of medications, wound care, and pain management
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop effective interventions to mitigate these risks
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning opportunities to improve patient outcomes and minimize readmissions
