Requirements for this Quality Inspector job
To excel as a Quality Inspector at PTI Technologies, you will need a variety of essential skills and qualifications. A high school diploma or GED, combined with three to four years of relevant experience in aerospace manufacturing, is required. You must be adept at inspecting and measuring detail parts and assemblies according to blueprint characteristics and purchase order requirements. Familiarity with documenting nonconformances and engaging with Material Review Board (MRB) processes is important. AS9102/FAIR experience is mandatory.
The ability to communicate effectively with engineers regarding discrepancies, as well as assisting customers during source inspections, is crucial. Proficiency in computer data entry and completing inspection paperwork will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Additionally, performing internal audits and surveillance per PTI procedures is a vital aspect of maintaining our high quality standards. SAE AS13001 DPRV/DSQR certification is preferred. If you possess a DMIR or ODAR Certificate, it will be considered a significant advantage.
Your analytical skills, particularly in arithmetic and data interpretation, will contribute to your success in this position.
