Summary:
We are hiring immediately for a full time, In Process Inspector (Standard Shift). This position requires the ability to perform visual, mechanical and electrical inspection functions in manufacturing areas under minimum supervision. The individual must be dedicated to the quality function and have a drive to enhance the quality of both the product and processes.
Duties:
โ€ข Performs limited repetitive dimensional and electrical inspection using basic equipment and established procedures with minimum supervision of a higher inspector or supervisor.
โ€ข Need to have mechanical aptitude with an ability to execute good record keeping practices as a major part of the duties.
โ€ข Must be detail-oriented and adept at accuracy.
โ€ข Must be flexible and able to work with a variety of different people and in different areas depending on business need.
โ€ข Interpret drawings and written work instructions.
โ€ข Must possess basic mathematical abilities, computer literate and be comfortable using different applications.
โ€ข Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
โ€ข If required, attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements. (i.e. JSTD)
โ€ข Uses a variety of precision measuring instruments including electrical test equipment, calipers, and micrometer.
โ€ข Schedules, plans, and executes assigned or delegated tasks in an efficient manner.
โ€ข Prioritizes workload such that production delays are minimized or eliminated.
โ€ข Ability to interface directly with customer representatives.
โ€ข Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Knowledge in the use of basic mechanical measuring tools (including calipers, and micrometer)
  • Ability to interpret basic drawings and instructions.
  • Good written, verbal, mathematical and analytical skills.
  • IPC 600, 610 and J-Standard certification preferred.
  • Ability to read/write in English.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience preferred.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 16.92-31.44
