Rantec Microwave Systems, Inc. located in Westlake Village, has an immediate opening for a Final/In Process Inspector. The Inspector will inspect in-process and finished product to ensure compliance to drawing specifications, customer and company requirements. Prepare documentation for submittal and interface with customer or government source inspectors on final shippable product.

Job Duties:

· Operate a PC with Windows-based software (Word, Excel, etc.).

· Read, interpret, and follow mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, work instructions, manufacturing procedures, quality procedures, and industry specifications.

· Use handheld inspection equipment to ensure part compliance (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

· Inspect product under 10X magnification using a stereo microscope.

· Prepare and validate AS9102 first article documentation.

· Interpret the requirements of customer purchase orders.

· Create final shipping documentation.

Skill Requirements:

· Must be capable of performing all manners of mechanical inspection, utilizing all types of handheld equipment.

· Understand and interpret geometric tolerancing.

· Inspect using a microscope for extended periods.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Applicants must be computer literate, detail oriented, and have good communication skills.

Experience:

· Minimum 3 Years of mechanical inspection experience in the aerospace industry.

· Dip Braze knowledge a plus.

Work Schedule:

· Day shift hours are 5:00 am to 3:30 pm – 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday.

Physical Requirements:

· Lift and handle approximately 20 pounds.

Potential employees must be able to obtain a security clearance to perform all duties associated with this position.
