Job description

Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures, and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales, and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits' products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection, measurement, and imaging applications, including military communication, guidance, and electronic countermeasure systems, commercial, scientific, military land, sea, and aircraft; automotive systems, medical systems, and industrial test equipment.
Mini-Circuits sells our products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, and sales representatives, as well as through our extensive website.
Position Summary:
The L1 In Process Inspector is responsible for the inspection of all units while in assembly. They are also responsible for verifying sample units in their initial stage of production before full assembly is completed
Job Function:
  • Obtain all required documents and verify the revision level of each.
  • Obtain the approved sample and verify its revision level.
  • Comply with ESD guidelines and regulations.
  • Verify part numbers against the documentation provided and ensure that the correct number of components was received.
  • Read and understand all instructions, following the work sequence shown on the documentation.
  • Perform the first piece, in-process, sampling, and final inspections following established procedures.
  • Meet production goals while following quality standards.
  • Verify, complete, and sign the required documentation provided on the tablet.
  • Fill out the sampling inspection form in accordance with model's classification.
  • Recognize the difference between acceptable and non-acceptable results and units.
  • Understand and follow all relevant written and verbal instructions in the model's documentation.
  • Report any non-conformities to the Group Supervisor or Assistant Group Leader.

Qualifications :
  • Minimum High School Diploma, GED or international equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role, is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and orally communicate in English and have the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to understand both verbal and written instructions, including the documentation for various models.
  • Ability to distinguish colors in accordance with the ISHIRA test for color blindness.
  • Basic Computer skills and understanding of the MS Office Suite.
  • Must have basic operational knowledge of how to use the equipment within the department.
  • Good manual dexterity and eye coordination.
  • Ability to see fine detail through a microscope.
