Job Description
You will be the In-Process Build Inspector for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, among others, to meet company and customer requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
As the In-Process Build Inspector you will be responsible for conducting in-process inspections that verify assemblies meet engineering specifications and performance standards.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform detailed inspections of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components during build.
  • Compare work against drawings, specifications, and test data.
  • Document findings and generate non-conformance reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve quality issues.
  • Support continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability.

Basic Qualifications
-Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd or
split shift in accordance with the collective
bargaining agreement
-Prior Inspection and/or Quality experience
-Solder and cable & harness experience
-Ability to read and interpret work instructions &
specifications
-Must have the ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Desired skills
-Working knowledge of Manufacturing/Quality
systems and processes
-Working knowledge of SAP
-IPC J-STD-001 Certification
-IPC WHMA-A-620B Wire Harness Certification
-Prior inspection experience on military/aerospace
