Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Quality Inspector for our client. This job is responsible for performing routine inspections of in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. This role supports production operations by identifying defects, verifying product quality, and maintaining accurate inspection records in a manufacturing environment.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
  • Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures at various stages of production.
  • Inspect in-process and finished assemblies and sub-assemblies for compliance with quality standards.
  • Read and follow visual aids, engineering change notices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Determine product acceptance or rejection based on inspection results and specifications.
  • Conduct visual inspections using: Magnifying glasses; Lot sampling methods; First article inspections; AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) machines
  • Enter inspection results into the computerized MES system accurately.
  • Maintain quality records and documentation.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to address product issues.
  • Follow all company safety, health, and security procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality-related role required
  • Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing preferred
  • QC Certification required
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and visual work aids
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills and ability to enter data into MES systems
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment and electronic assemblies
