We play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our products, working collaboratively to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues. Our team thrives on a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance processes and outcomes.

ABOUT THE JOB:

We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our growing team in Lexington, MA. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective quality assurance protocols.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Perform incoming inspection, in-process inspection and end of line inspection. Ensure Inspection areas follow processes and best practices associated with inspection work instructions, procedures, and tools.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering in the creation of inspection plans for incoming materials, parts, and assemblies from suppliers and monitor their compliance
  • Execute on the equipment calibration and material shelf-life verification programs
  • Support Material review board processes
  • Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures.
  • Review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity gains, quality improvements, and benefits to Anduril's quality policy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Technical or Associates degree in related quality/mechanical/aerospace engineering field
  • 3+ years of Quality and/or Manufacturing experience within the Aerospace industry
  • Experience with Calibrated equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, CMM etc.)
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings (wire diagrams, work instructions, CAD)
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge, understanding dimension and tolerancing
  • Experience with inspection of machined parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Experience with inspection of Electrical and Electronic Components (Power Supplies, PCBs, wire-harnesses)
  • Experience in a facility with AS9100, ISO9001, IATF 16949 or similar QMS standard.
  • Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast paced, challenging work environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted
  • Understanding of FAIR, COC, production metrics
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S Secret clearance

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field of study
  • IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620 Certification
  • Experience with Manufacturing processes and their related systems (Jira, MES, ERP, Teamcenter, CAD)
  • Experience with auditing processes and procedures in a manufacturing environment
  • Detail oriented self starter with minimal oversight - strong ability to communicate with different cross functional teams.
