Candidates shall have knowledge of construction means and methods, materials, strong communication skills, documentation control, ability to read and interpret plans and specifications and to perform quantity takeoffs/calculations.Experience and Qualifications: Experience in inspecting, testing, or managing construction projects is a must. Candidates must be fully proficient in the use of computers including MS Word, Excel and construction reporting/quantity tracking software. Must have effective written and oral communication skills, be eager to learn, willing to perform a variety of tasks and be a team player. A minimum of three years of experience in civil, highway, facility or a relevant engineering field is required, with one year in a field inspection capacity. Any of the following Professional certifications are strongly preferred: NICET; NETTCP; ACI; NACE; AWS/CWI; ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor; EIT; CCM; CMIT; CACM. Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) or Associates Degree in a relevant field is preferred.Employees assigned to driving duties ("drivers") must have a current, valid US State driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Keville's driving policy.
