Quality Inspector โ€“ Manufacturing

East Providence, RI
$19.00โ€“$20.25 per hour
1st or 2nd Shift
Full-time, Temp-to-Permanent


We are seeking a Quality Inspector for a confidential manufacturing client in East Providence. This hands-on position involves dimensional inspection, visual inspection, functional testing, blueprint reading, precision measurement, and quality documentation.


Candidates with experience as a Quality Control Inspector, Quality Assurance Inspector, QA Inspector, In-Process Inspector, Mechanical Inspector, Manufacturing Inspector, or Quality Technician may be a strong match.


Schedule and Pay

  • 1st Shift: Mondayโ€“Friday, 7:00 AMโ€“3:30 PM โ€” $19.00 per hour
  • 2nd Shift: Mondayโ€“Friday, 3:00 PMโ€“11:30 PM โ€” $20.25 per hour, including the shift differential


What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Inspect manufactured products according to established sampling plans
  • Perform dimensional, visual, variable, attribute, and functional inspections
  • Read and interpret basic blueprint dimensions and notes
  • Measure products using digital calipers, luer gauges, go/no-go pins, optical comparators, tensile testers, and other inspection equipment
  • Document inspection findings and test results
  • Determine whether products meet workmanship and acceptance standards
  • Approve or reject products based on inspection results
  • Record accepted and rejected quantities
  • Package, weigh, and label inspected products
  • Sort or rework products when required
  • Properly care for measuring and testing equipment

What Youโ€™ll Need

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to interpret basic blueprints and product specifications
  • Ability to work with precision measuring and inspection equipment
  • Ability to read work instructions and accurately complete documentation in English
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Previous Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience is preferred
