Quality Inspector

Inspectmaterial received and finished product to ensure conformance to purchase order,drawing, and/or specification requirements. Perform in process inspection as required..

Today Ducommun is a global provider of innovative manufacturing solutions for customers in the aerospace, defense and industrial markets. We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications. 

Our facility in Huntsville, AR manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boards, cable assemblies, and high level box build electronic assemblies for the defense industry.

Job Summary

  • Working with limited supervision to verify product compliance to identified requirements.
  • Follow inspection plans and statistical sampling plans.
  • Marks items for acceptance or rejection, records test results and inspection data, and compares findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards.
  • Accurately generate the necessary quality documentation required by each customer.
  • Work cooperatively with other inspectors, quality engineers, and manufacturing engineers.
  • Participate in root cause investigations of non-conformances.
  • Assist in material containment actions as required.
