The Tow Truck Operator plays a critical role in providing timely vehicle towing and roadside assistance services. As part of a team, operators frequently travel between locations to respond to emergency situations and scheduled towing assignments. They are skilled in operating various tow trucks and equipment, including standard, flatbed, and heavy-duty tow trucks, while ensuring safety compliance and effective customer interaction.
Responsibilities
- Tow vehicles safely using standard, flatbed, and heavy-duty tow trucks
- Provide roadside assistance to stranded motorists
- Operate towing equipment efficiently and according to safety standards
- Ensure vehicle loading and unloading is secure and damage-free
- Perform maintenance checks on tow trucks and equipment
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory compliance requirements
- Interact professionally with customers during service calls
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in vehicle operation
- Valid driver’s license and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of vehicle recovery techniques
- Demonstrated safe driving practices
- Basic mechanical knowledge

We also have 4 emergency road service trucks. We also operate a 15 bay repair shop at our location.
