Job description

  • Outpatient rheumatology position in a multi-specialty clinic

  • Join two other rheumatologists in a dedicated rheumatology practice with an on-site infusion floor staffed by RNs and an on-site lab

  • 100% outpatient role

  • Ideal schedule: 4-day workweek, 32"36 templated clinical hours

  • Typical volume 16"20 patients per day

  • Visit lengths generally 20"30 minutes for follow-ups and 45 minutes for new consults

  • Outpatient call only, rotating approximately every other week or every third week; light rheumatology after-hours call volume

  • After-hours service screens urgent calls and involves the on-call provider as needed

  • Each rheumatologist supported by a dedicated MA for rooming and chart prep, with float MA coverage available if needed

  • Additional support from RNs on the infusion floor and centralized business-office staff (prior auth, financial counseling, billing, coding, triage)

  • EMR: iKnowMed

  • Base salaryup to $310,000, depending on experience

  • RVU bonus model paying approximately $60.54 per wRVU above MGMA median
