About the Organization

In-Health Therapy Services is committed to providing exceptional mental health care to diverse clients throughout the Los Angeles area. We pride ourselves on delivering holistic, evidence-based approaches to therapy that are tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Our organization fosters a culture rooted in compassion, understanding, and respect, making a positive difference in people’s lives every day.

Work Environment

This role operates in a telehealth setting, allowing therapists to conduct sessions remotely via secure online platforms. This approach not only expands our reach to clients across Los Angeles but also offers flexibility to our therapists, enabling a balanced work-life experience. You will be part of a collaborative virtual team that values professional development and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning therapeutic goals with their personal needs and preferences.
  • Implement evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), during virtual sessions.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, discussing treatment options and self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and empower their journey.
  • Monitor client progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and adherence to therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients, enhancing the therapeutic experience.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the treatment of mood disorders to continually refine therapeutic approaches.
  • Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation that adheres to ethical standards and legal regulations.
  • Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to strengthen your clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to reduce stigma and improve access to necessary resources and support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at In-Health Therapy Services, you will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. Your empathetic approach will provide a safe space for clients to explore their challenges, empowering them to work through their difficulties with your support. This role requires a commitment to advocating for those who may feel marginalized or misunderstood, fostering healing and growth.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate trust-based relationships with clients remotely.
  • A demonstrated ability to practice with empathy and understanding, maintaining a nonjudgmental stance towards diverse client backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing telehealth services is highly desirable and will ensure a smooth integration into our practice.
  • Knowledge of or training in additional therapeutic modalities is a plus, offering clients a wider range of treatment options.
  • Your prior experience working with mood disorders will better equip you to respond adequately to client needs and challenges.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary between $90,000 and $100,000, customized based on your qualifications and work experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health insurance, and a retirement plan.
  • Opportunities for continual professional development, including training in addiction counseling.
  • A collaborative workspace that fosters ongoing mentorship and support from team members.
  • Engage in meaningful work that enables you to influence the long-term recovery and well-being of clients.
  • Access to current research and information on treatment strategies for addiction and mental health disorders.
