Job description

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Gastroenterology, is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join our team. A focus in General GI is desired, but additional specialized expertise would be welcome.

Clinical duties would be primarily outpatient, divided evenly between clinic and endoscopy at the hospital and ambulatory surgery center. Active involvement in teaching fellows, residents and students will be expected. Mentorship and protected time will be provided for career development. The Division of Gastroenterology includes 18 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers, with expertise in therapeutic endoscopy, hepatology, IBD, motility and genetics.

The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition includes a growing faculty practicing at the University Hospital, Riverside County hospital, and the VA; this position would be primarily at the University location and involve teaching fellows and residents. Division faculty include nationally known experts in hepatology, therapeutic endoscopy and IBD. The environment is extremely collegial and mission focused on patient care and education.

Faculty within the Department of Medicine are welcome to explore academic pursuits through teaching and/or research, as well as provide care to the underserved through our partnerships with SAC Health System in the Inland Empire and Guam Seventh-day Adventist Clinic in Micronesia. Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $450,000 - $525,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
