Job description

As a Director, Investor Relations at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our relationships with the investment community, facilitating communication, and helping to shape our financial message to investors.

You will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Investor Relations, and work out of our Headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina on a hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of 3+ days in the office per week. This may vary depending on senior leadership and business needs, the timing of investor relations events, and other items.

In this role, you will wield significant influence in shaping the company's financial strategies and market perception. Your work will be instrumental in defining and communicating our financial performance, strategic objectives, and growth plans to the investment community, thereby directly impacting our financial strategy, and fostering investor confidence.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in senior finance roles, with a proven track record of financial leadership.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in investor relations, finance, or related roles, with a track record of successful engagement with the investment community.
  • Strong financial acumen, including the ability to interpret financial statements, analyze market data, and develop investor communication materials.
  • Incredible attention to detail and passion for delivering world-class IR materials.
  • Expertise in regulatory compliance including SEC filings and disclosure obligations.
  • Strong executive communication skills and ability to succinctly and effectively communicate our position to the CEO, CFO and other key business leaders.
  • Ability to lead and develop a high-performing investor relations team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute investor relations strategies to effectively communicate the company's financial performance and equity story to the investment community.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with analysts, institutional investors, and other key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of all materials related to the quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, and other investor communications in a timely and efficient fashion.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership and Honeywell's board of Directors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SEC filings and Regulation-FD requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and communications, to align investor relations activities with overall business objectives.
  • In partnership with the SVP, Investor Relations, oversee activities of the team's analysts (including training and development) and continue to build a strong pipeline of finance talent at this level.
  • Lead all Investor Relations internal presentations for functional meetings, LDP/MDP/EDP and other company-wide events.
