About the Role:

Caliber is looking to hire a PR enthusiast to join our team as a Senior Account Executive. Caliber Senior Account Executives play a key role in developing and executing on creative media relations strategies as the critical connector between our internal team and our clients. The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 to $90,000. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing a strong journalist network to support our clients’ media goals in our industries of focus -  financial services, fintech, insurtech and proptech.

Candidates are expected to work both collaboratively supporting client accounts and independently, owning individual projects and assignments. 

About your responsibilities:

Client Liaison: serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a group of clients, working with senior leadership within financial services and fintech companies to ensure proper coverage of client priorities, including:

  • Leading client calls and daily communication with clients via email and phone. 
  • Drafting client press releases, corporate bios, media pitches, and other written materials, with stellar attention to detail.
  • Supporting the senior team on each of your accounts across a number of parameters including measurement of results, drafting of content and media list development.
  • Researching reporters and building media lists (through databases and DIY) across broadcast, podcast, online and print media outlets.
  • Developing, researching, and writing pitches and story angles targeting specific journalists in B2B and/or B2C spaces, focusing on proactive news hooks and newsjacking opportunities.
  • Setting and managing evolving internal and external deadlines, ensuring proper communication as the connector between our internal team and clients.
