The Opportunity
We are seeking an in-house Legal Counsel to serve as RMS's primary contracts expert and trusted legal advisor. This is a high-impact role where you'll build scalable legal processes, manage complex commercial agreements, and partner directly with senior leadership to support our global growth. As the company's internal legal resource, you'll oversee all aspects of contract review, drafting, and negotiation—with a particular focus on client agreements, vendor contracts, and NDAs—while providing general legal support across departments.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a legal professional with excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of technology, data privacy, contract law, compliance, and risk management to make a meaningful impact on the way we manage risk and structure our business relationships.

This is a hybrid role coming into the office 3 days a week. (Tue, Wed, Thurs)

Who You'll Work With
You'll collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams—including Finance, Sales, Operations, and People—to ensure our contracts support business goals while minimizing legal and operational risk. You will be the go-to legal advisor for the business and will help establish a strong legal foundation for long-term growth.

What You'll Do
•    Lead the review, drafting, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, vendor agreements, and client service contracts
•    Act as the primary point of contact for all legal matters across the organization
•    Provide legal guidance on contract terms, business risks, and regulatory compliance
•    Develop, maintain, and improve standard contract templates and internal legal workflows
•    Support corporate governance, including entity management and board documentation
•    Organize and track legal documents, key terms, and contract renewals with precision
•    Partner with external counsel (US and international) on specialized legal matters as needed
•    Stay current on legal and regulatory developments that could impact the business
•    Provide guidance on internal policies, HR matters, and strategic initiatives as required

Required
•    Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
•    Active license to practice law in Florida
•    4+ years of legal experience, with a strong emphasis on tech-driven commercial contracts
•    Proven ability to manage complex legal work with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
•    Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
•    Ability to assess legal risk and offer clear, business-minded solutions
•    Experience working independently and advising cross-functional teams
•    Experience working with and managing outside counsel
•    Background in data privacy (GDPR/CCPA) and artificial intelligence

Preferred
•    Background in employment law and intellectual property
•    Experience supporting global operations or international contracts
•    Familiarity with contract lifecycle management or legal operations platforms (or willingness to learn)

Benefits
As a full-time RMS employee, you will receive:
•    100% employer-paid HSA medical insurance, or 80% employer-paid medical insurance for HMO and PPO plans for you and qualifying dependents
•    Dental and vision insurance (80% employer-paid)
•    Basic Life and AD&D insurance (100% employer-paid)
•    Telemedicine (100% employer-paid)
•    401(k) plan with company matching contribution of 4% of annual gross salary with immediate vesting
•    15 business days paid vacation for the first year (pro rata). 20 days after two years, and 25 days after ten years
•    8 paid holidays + 1 personal floating holiday
•    Gym membership or ClassPass (optional)
•    Access to optional group insurance plans (100% employee-paid): Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital, Voluntary Life and AD&D, Long-term Disability, Short-term Disability, and Pet Insurance
